Echoh for teammates

Your Slack admin set up Echoh so the team can back each other's LinkedIn posts. Here is what that means for you, in the order you will meet it.

1. You get an invite in Slack

An @-mention in a channel and a DM from the Echoh app, with a personal Connect LinkedIn button. The link is good for seven days. If it has expired, opening it offers to send you a fresh one.

2. You connect LinkedIn once

Click the button. LinkedIn's own consent screen opens; click Allow. That is the whole setup. There is no password, no Google sign-in and no dashboard for you. You are back in Slack with a message from Echoh explaining what happens next.

3. Colleagues' posts arrive as messages

When a teammate publishes a LinkedIn post, Echoh DMs you the post with a row of buttons: 👍 Like, 👏 Praise, ❤️ Empathy, 💡 Insight, 🎉 Celebrate, 🤗 Support, plus Comment, Repost, and Repost with your own take. One tap, from your own LinkedIn account, without leaving Slack. If several posts are waiting, one button Likes all of them.

4. Your posts get the team behind them

Run /echoh compose in Slack to draft a post, with AI help if you want it, publish it to your LinkedIn, and pick the teammates to amplify it to. They get the same one-tap message about your post. Already posted on LinkedIn? Run /echoh share <url> to fan it out.

5. You see what it did for you

Click Echoh in your Slack sidebar for your last 30 days: posts you published, how many teammates backed them, reactions and comments received, your top supporter, and what is waiting for your tap. Once a week Echoh DMs you the same numbers.

What Echoh never does

  • It never reacts, comments, reposts or publishes unless you click. Nothing is scheduled or automatic.
  • It never reads your LinkedIn feed, private messages, connections or search history.
  • It never reads your Slack channel messages or DMs between people.
  • It never shares your password. LinkedIn access is OAuth, which you can revoke on LinkedIn at any time.

Leaving

Open the Echoh app in Slack and disconnect, or revoke Echoh under LinkedIn's permitted services. Either stops everything immediately. Questions: talk to us.
